Professional Growth and Development

I am committed to continued professional growth and development.  In addition to in-service provided by the district, I continue to attend workshops and conferences and take graduate courses specific to teaching and learning mathematics and integrating technology into the classroom.  I have taught two graduate courses at Shrewsbury High School that I designed to help math teachers refresh their knowledge of calculus and explore the concepts of calculus through an investigative approach.  Since 2010, I have also served as a Supervising Practitioner for students from Assumption College who are completing their pre-practicum and practicum experiences.  Additionally, I am part of the iPad Innovation Team that is structuring and supporting the integration of iPads into classroom teaching at SHS.

Below is a list of selected PDPs from my Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP).
