WELCOME to my online teaching portfolio. I was inspired to create this portfolio in 2011 through my work as the supervising practitioner of undergraduate students completing their student-teaching practicums. Helping them to complete their own comprehensive certification portfolio reminded me of the importance of documenting, reflecting upon, and sharing my own work.
I have three primary reasons for maintaining this portfolio: to improve my own teaching through such documentation and reflection, to keep my practice aligned with the Massachusetts Standards for Effective Teaching Practice and to document my work for educator evaluation, and to help the practicum students with whom I work by showing them examples of what I believe are good instructional practices.
